Pacific Asset Management (Pacific), the London-based asset manager, today announces the appointment of Scott Spencer as investment director in the Multi-Asset team. Scott joins Pacific today and will sit as a member of the investment committee for the fast-growing Pacific MPS portfolios, with a focus on manager research and income strategies, as well as serving as a portfolio manager for Pacific’s innovative IPX solutions for financial advisers. He reports to Will Bartleet, CIO, Pacific Asset Management.
Scott joins from Titan Square Mile where he was an investment director overseeing the managed portfolio service and advisory portfolio service. He was a member of the asset allocation committee and worked with the broader analyst team to oversee fund selection within portfolios. Prior to this he was an investment manager at Columbia Threadneedle Investments and was a senior investment manager at Aberdeen Asset Management. He also held manager research roles as a portfolio manager at Credit Suisse and as head of investment strategy for Berkeley Fund Managers.
