Chief Executive Officer
Matthew was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October 2016. Prior to joining Pacific, Matthew was Managing Director and Global Head of Liquid Alternative Investment Sales at Deutsche Asset Management. From 2003-2015, Matthew worked at GAM where he was the UK and Middle East Head of Institutional and Funds distribution and Global Head of retail multi-asset sales. Matthew has over 15 years of asset management experience covering multi-asset, fixed income, equities, and liquid alternatives.
Chief Operating Officer
Paul was appointed chief operating officer in November 2017. Prior to joining Pacific, Paul was COO of Pensato Capital LLP an equity long short manager, where he joined in 2013, initially as Deputy COO. In 2017 Paul was responsible for selling the Pensato business to RWC Partners. He started his career in Operations at Goldman Sachs in 2000, transitioning to the Prime Brokerage and Equity Finance trading business. Paul holds a M. Eng in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University.
Chief Compliance Officer
Amrusta is the Chief Compliance Officer at Pacific. Her responsibilities include the management of the firm’s regulatory framework and ensuring ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations. Prior to joining in 2015, she was Chief Compliance Officer at Halkin Asset Management Limited. Before her sabbatical, she spent 13 years at Coronation International Limited as Compliance Manager with the overall responsibility for the group’s UK regulatory framework. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Simon is Pacific’s Head of Marketing and Communications. Prior to joining Pacific in November 2016, Simon spent 10 years at GAM where he was Head of Content Marketing and Presentations. Simon has over 18 years professional experience and has held several marketing positions at blue chip firms including Barclays Capital, Goldman Sachs, HSBC and Lloyd’s of London.

Ben was appointed Head of UK Strategy to establish Pacific's DFM Solutions for Advisers in September 2017. Prior to this, Ben held senior positions at Puma (Shore) Capital, and UK FinTech firm, Seedrs. Previous to that he helped GAM establish and build their £1bn risk-rated portfolio solutions business for Advisers. Ben has over a decade of professional experience and holds the Investment Management Certificate I & II.
Head of UK Wholesale Fund Sales
Chris joined Pacific in October 2015 as the Sales Director. Prior to this, he spent 17 years at the Capital Group, which is the world’s second largest active equity manager. From 1994-1997, Chris was an Assistant Fund Manager at a family office called PFM. He began his career as a Unit Trust Administrator at Reliance Mutual Insurance Society in 1988.
Freddie is Pacific’s International Sales Director appointed in September 2016. He was a Client Director at GAM for 7 years where he was responsible for distributing the business' investments capabilities in the UK and Internationally. Prior to that he worked for Credit Agricole after graduating from Newcastle university.
Regional Director - Middle East & Asia
David is the Regional Director for Pacific for the Middle East and Asia. Prior to joining Pacific, he was Head of Global Sales at VAM, the Luxembourg based specialist investment firm and Head of Sales (Asia) for Royal Skandia. David has over 27 years of industry experience with 14 of these years spent in Asia.
Regional Director - Middle East & Asia
David is the Regional Director for Pacific for the Middle East and Asia. Prior to Pacific, he worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd for over 11 years, holding serval senior positions with his most recent as Head of Bank Distribution for the Middle East and Africa.
Tarek is the Sales Manager joining Pacific in April 2017. Prior to this, he spent 2 years at Deutsche Asset Management where he worked as a Fund Sales Executive in charge of promoting active, passive and alternatives products in the UK wholesale market. Before this, Tarek filled several portfolio management positions at State Street and Swiss Life Asset Management.
Head of Fund Accounting and Operations
Ryan is the Head of Fund Accounting and Operations at Pacific. He has over a decade of experience helping investment management firms with their accounting, tax and regulatory needs. He has worked leading teams providing consultancy, outsourcing services and worked internally as a Financial Controller. Ryan is a Chartered Management Accountant and has a M.S in Physics.
Veronica is the Operations Manager at Pacific. Veronica joined in September 2017 with over 18 years of experience in operations. This including over a decade’s experience as Senior Operations Specialist at Eton Park International.
Callum is Pacific’s Operations Analyst. He started his career in the Operations team at Credit Suisse, before joining a Quantitative Macro Hedge Fund. He has the Investment Management Certificate l & ll and has achieved Level 1 and 2 of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) qualification alongside a Graduate Diploma in Mathematics.
Cobi Van Den Berg
Cobi is Pacific’s Office Manager and Matthew Lamb’s PA. She previously worked in investment banking boutique Torreya’s London office, and as a Marketing Assistant and Company Administrator for real estate agent Gordon & Co.
Operations Associate - North of South Capital LLP
Ruriko joined North of South in 2011. She is responsible for the day to day operational function of the company including trade bookings, settlements, portfolio reconciliations and NAVs. She has a strong background in finance and accounting, having received a MSc in International Finance and is currently working towards her ACCA accounting qualification.
Arnoud van Leeuwen
COO and Partner - North of South Capital LLP
Arnoud is the Chief Operational Officer and Partner at North of South, having joined the company in 2004 initially as the Operations Manager. He is responsible for operational, compliance and infrastructure within the company. He achieved a BA in International Finance and Marketing from Boston University and holds a MA from London Business School.
Strategist / Natural Resource Analyst & Partner - North of South Capital LLP
Mark is Strategist / Natural Resource Analyst and Partner at North of South, having joined the company in 2004. He uses his specialist knowledge to identify shifts in global economic trends and recommends stocks in natural resources sector. Mr Latham holds a Masters in Natural Science from Cambridge University. He is based in Portsmouth.

Kamil is the Co-Manager and Partner at North of South Capital LLP. He is responsible for portfolio construction, quantitative analysis and conducts the company research, risk analysis and portfolio attribution. Richard is a Founding Portfolio Manager of Pacific’s G10 Macro Rates team. Previously having worked as a Named Fund Manager at Standard Life Investments. Richard has actively managed portfolios since 2006 and has an excellent track record of trading G10 government bonds, interest rates and FX with over 18 years’ experience in fund management and investment banking.

Shayne Dunlap is a Founding Portfolio Manager of Pacific’s G10 Macro Rates team. Prior to joining, Shayne worked as the Lead Fund Manager at Standard Life Investments. He has worked in fund management and investment banking for 29 years and has actively managed portfolios since 1999 with an excellent track record in G10 government bonds, interest rates and FX.
Head of Trading and co-manager of Risk Premia
Vladimir is the Head of Trading and co-manager of Risk Premia at Pacific. Before joining in July 2017, he worked at Deutsche Bank for 9 years where he ran a global book of interest rates and FX and inflation derivatives structured products. Vladimir holds a PhD in Physics, as well as holding a M.S. in Computational Finance and previously worked as a research scientist at several of the top US universities.
Head of Diversifying Assets and co-manager of Risk Premia
Louis is Head of Diversifying Assets at Pacific. Prior to joining in 2016, Louis worked at Deutsche Bank for 10 years, most recently as the Managing Director and the Global Head of Multi- Asset Trading where he created, traded and managed over $5bn of risk premia strategies. In this role, Louis and his team developed and managed quantitative alternative investments.
Chief Investment Officer
Will is the Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager of Pacific’s range of multi-asset funds. Prior to joining Pacific, he worked at HSBC Asset management for 17 years, most recently as Portfolio Manager of a $5bn range of multi-asset funds. He was also the Chairman of their Tactical Asset Allocation Committee, responsible for the tactical positioning of HSBC’s $30bn wealth business.
